I grew up in Elkhart, Indiana, where I developed a strong interest in hands-on work, problem-solving, and building things from the ground up. A lot of that started with vehicles and technology. I’ve always enjoyed working on trucks, SUVs, and cars, especially projects involving suspension upgrades, off-road capability, fabrication, restoration, and overall performance improvements. I enjoy taking something stock and turning it into something more functional, capable, and unique. That same mindset eventually carried over into technology and cybersecurity.

Today, most of my focus is centered around IT and cybersecurity. I’m currently working toward starting my career in areas such as SOC analysis, blue team operations, networking, cloud security, incident response, and privacy/security engineering. I enjoy learning how systems connect, how attacks happen, and how organizations protect infrastructure and data behind the scenes. Alongside earning certifications and continuing my education, I spend time building my website, working on technical projects, and expanding my hands-on experience through labs like TryHackMe and independent learning. I’m also continuing my search for the right school to complete my bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity while building a long-term career in the field.

Outside of tech, I enjoy traveling, road trips, camping, and spending time outdoors whenever I can. I like exploring new places, learning from different experiences, and staying open to new ideas and perspectives. I’m also a big fan of podcasts like Darknet Diaries, The Hacker and The Fed, Joe Rogan, and Theo Von because I enjoy hearing conversations about technology, cybersecurity, business, and life experiences from people with different backgrounds.

Family is one of the biggest motivations behind everything I’m working toward. Spending time with my son and my fiance, who is also the mother of my son, keeps me grounded and motivated to continue building a stable and successful future for us. I value leadership, adaptability, curiosity, humor, and a strong work ethic, and I try to bring those qualities into both my personal life and professional goals. Long term, I’m interested in opportunities that allow flexibility, continuous learning, and meaningful growth, especially remote or hybrid roles where I can continue developing my skills while contributing to a strong team and mission.
